Receiving duplicate notifications via clevertap

We are receiving duplicate notifications on a device.
How we register for push:

func application(_ application: UIApplication, didRegisterForRemoteNotificationsWithDeviceToken deviceToken: Data) {
    CleverTap.sharedInstance()?.setPushToken(deviceToken)
}

We than hit the Clevertap API’s via our server to deliver the notifications. We call this API once but the same notifications are delivered multiple times.

Do we need to clear the old token somehow or do anything else…?
