- 50% of newly acquired users end up transacting on the same day on which they launched the app for the first time.
- 75% of the newly acquired users end up transacting within the first three days of they launching the app for the first time.
- 50% of the newly acquired users, who repeat a transact, transact within 1 day and 75% of them transact within a week.
Now, to answer the question what are good cohort retention rates for week 1, 2 and 4?
Every mobile commerce app will have different retention rates depending on what they’re selling. For example, the retention rates for an app selling electronics will be different than the one selling clothes.
If you’re able to retain > 35% of your users in week four, then you’ve hit gold.
